The IDEASnet.org website redesign project was initiated to modernize the organization’s online presence, engage donors more effectively, and better showcase its mission-driven impact. This effort included developing donor-centric content, reorganizing the site’s layout for improved user experience, and developing a subdomain to highlight a specific initiative—helping underserved migrant entrepreneurs in Mexico. By integrating compelling visuals, storytelling, and modern web practices, the project aimed to create a cohesive digital platform aligned with IDEASnet.org’s brand and fundraising objectives.
The IDEAS Fundraising & Donor Engagement Project goal was to bolster the organization’s year-end fundraising efforts. By integrating strategic donor segmentation, brand-centric communication, and targeted digital platforms, the initiative established a foundation for increased visibility and donor support. Key tactics included refining the GA Gives Day campaign, segmenting donors by tiers, and enhancing the overall brand presence across digital channels.
The Emory Global Health Programs Mapping Project aimed to visualize global health initiatives across Emory University. While the map was not fully built or hosted online, the project made significant strides in consolidating and cleaning data from multiple departments. This allowed for the first-ever consolidated view of not only the Emory Global Health Institute (EGHI) programs but also broader global projects across the university, offering valuable insights through Tableau.
The NYC DOHMH Vital Records Website Redesign project focused on enhancing the usability and accessibility of the website, which serves over 8.3 million residents. This project aimed to improve the platform’s performance during high-demand periods, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, by addressing user pain points, optimizing technical limitations, and ensuring a seamless user experience.
The Peer to Peer outreach effort was developed to engage brigades that had previously not participated in the revisioning efforts or had been missing key feedback. The goal was to foster dialogue, deepen engagement, and improve overall communication and alignment within CfA’s decentralized brigade network. This outreach informed broader strategies and led to the refinement of the Peer-to-Peer Facilitator’s Toolkit, helping brigades collaborate effectively as part of CfA’s long-term network revisioning strategy.
The approach also emphasized empathy-driven design, using tools such as empathy mapping to better understand the challenges, concerns, and aspirations of brigade members. These insights were instrumental in crafting relevant questions and shaping the direction of future outreach efforts.
Grady Cares helps connect Atlanta Public Schools System families to critical resources to help alleviate emergency needs and immediate situations. The organization strives to make the community a better place for students and families in need. The website is a simple WIX page mirroring a Word document and misses the key elements you’d expect to see on a website. The challenge was to help redesign the Grady Cares website to support this grassroots effort started by a mom in the community to help families find essential information and resources.
